Hi there,
It’s been a week since we opened the doors to raclette, and wow — what a start! 🎉
Here’s a quick recap of what’s happened since our open source launch:
🛠️ Milestones are live and growing
We’ve started to lay out our roadmap! You can now follow along in the Milestones section to see what’s coming next and what we’re currently tackling. There is still the majority missing but we are on our way!
🐛 Pre-launch bugs squashed
We’ve cleared out a few bugs we had on our radar before release. Thanks to everyone who jumped in with feedback and helped us smooth out the edges.
🧠 Cache TTL update
By default, raclette now uses an indefinite cache TTL.
Prefer more control? You can now configure TTL directly in your raclette.config
. Flexibility = power.
🌍 Improved locale fallback logic
We’ve fine-tuned how raclette handles missing locales. Now, if a region-specific locale isn’t available, raclette will try another region of the same language before falling back to your global default. Smarter, smoother internationalization.
📦 Two new releases: 0.1.1 & 0.1.2
Yup, we’ve already shipped two updates this week.
We recommend updating to the latest version (0.1.2
) to benefit from the fixes and enhancements.
Thanks again for being part of the journey so early on — we’re still in Beta, but we’re moving fast. If you haven’t yet, check out the repo, give raclette a spin, and drop us a comment or an issue. We’re listening.
May the 🧀 be with you,
Sincerely yours
The cheesy people
