Hi there,
Another week, another stack of cheesy updates. 🧀
Here’s what’s cooking in raclette land:
🌐 Language & Theme preferences now stick (for real)
Your settings, your rules.
We’ve fixed how raclette handles language and theme preferences - they now persist via localStorage
across all environments, not just in dev mode. Also, your preferred language is now correctly respected in all components.
👀 Landing page glow-up
The default landing page for both core and workbench got a fresh layer of polish. Not flashy, just friendlier - right out of the box.
We've also fixed the issue with missing pointer cursors on buttons.
⚙️ Query handling: cleaner, safer, smarter
We addressed several quirks:
-
Fixed a bug with query handler ID suffixing
-
"Refresh all queries" now behaves correctly again
-
Better handling of data API
id
s to avoid collisions inside components
(Yes, all of this landed in one week.)
🔍 IDE compatibility
Aliases like @app
and @raclettejs/core/frontend
now resolve properly in your IDE, making dev workflows smoother and reducing head-scratching errors.
💡 Data layer improvements
Big wins for developers already working with external Interfaces:
-
useStore
option in queries is now respected during fetch & write -
Responses from queries and
$data
calls now include the server response object, as well as the Data parsed to array, available under dataArr -
You can now pass custom
id
s alongsideparams
andoptions
to fine-tune your query behavior - Execute does now return response and result, make sure to check the docs!

⌨️ Dynamic forms now keyboard-friendly
The dynamic form in the workbench can now be navigated by hitting enter. This is a great little boost for accessibility and power users. In a future update we will add the full shortcut support from an earlier iteration again!
🔌 CLI Connector: Initial Release!
Our new CLI integration is live as @raclettejs/plugin-cli-connector@0.1.0
- now available on npm and GitLab!
It’s the beginning of deeper automation and integration options with your raclette setup. More to come soon.
🧾 OpenStack Billing Dashboard Plugin
This week brought several updates and fixes to our OpenStack plugin - especially around i18n and API handling. And yes, everything now aligns with the latest core and workbench versions.
🗂️ GitLab repo: pacificodigitalexplorations/raclette-applications/openstack-billingdashboard
✅ No worries: the installation guide hasn’t changed. You can upgrade without re-learning a thing.
We will also provide this plugin as a npm package during the next couple of weeks, until then it will be released as prebuilt docker images.
📦 Releases this week:
-
@raclettejs/core
: v0.1.3 → v0.1.10 -
@raclettejs/workbench
: v0.1.3 → v0.1.10 @raclettejs/plugin-cli-connector: v0.1.0
-
Openstack-billingdashboard: v0.1.8
Thanks again for following along - your feedback keeps things moving fast and in the right direction.
Btw... We hope that the Gmail users who experienced issues with the light/dark theme of our newsletter mails find the issue resolved =) If not, please let us know.
Until next melt,
Sincerely yours,
The cheesy people 🧀
